Thread lifting (mono thread lifting threads)
Thread lifting was developed at the beginning of the century and has since been an efficient treatment for wrinkles, skin texture and the reduction in volume caused by gravity.
During thread lifting, we place targeted threads under the skin to tighten the desired areas. Most often these are wrinkles on the décolleté, wrinkles in the eye or upper lip region, and excess skin on the neck and cheek region. Thread lifting not only improves the elasticity of the skin, but also the entire complexion. The skin looks healthier and more vital, the complexion appears fresh again
Tightening with threads can be used on both the face and the body for all annoying excess skin and only requires a short treatment period of 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the effort. The first results can be seen shortly after the procedure and in a healing process that lasts approximately 12 weeks, the progress becomes more visible with each passing day. Healing time and strain on the skin are minimal compared to other tightening methods.
In the first step of a thread lift, very thin threads are inserted into the skin using a guide needle.
The irritation of the skin by the inserted threads stimulates the formation of collagen, the threads connect with the already existing collagen fibers so that new blood vessels form around the threads, growth factors are activated and revitalizing reactions are generated.
A distinction is made between the so-called mono or meso threads and the tension threads. The monothreads are used to smooth wrinkles, build volume and improve skin structure and primarily stimulate collagen production. The mono-threads are used on the face, neck, décolleté and body and generally cause fewer side effects (such as swelling or bruising) than lifting threads. The lifting threads have barbs and therefore exert a pulling and lifting effect.
The tension threads are inserted into the subcutaneous tissue and make it possible to reposition the sagging tissue, i.e. to return sunken areas of skin such as the chin area, sagging cheeks or cheeks to their original position. The more mass that needs to be lifted, the more threads should be used.
